In recognition of the hard work and fruitful harvests of its teaching personnel, Tarlac State University hosted its annual Teachers’ Night on October 9, 2026, held at the TSU Gymnasium.
Themed “Standing with Teachers: Protecting the Profession, Advancing its Status, and Shaping our Futures”, faculty members attended the event in Coachella-inspired outfits clad in warm beiges, cowboy hats, boots, and colorful headpieces.
In his welcome message, University President Dr. Jasper Jay N. Mendoza lauded the recent exemplary performances of TSU in the board exams for the College of Education, College of Nursing, College of Engineering, College of Business and Accountancy, College of Criminal Justice Education, and its School of Law.
Pres. Mendoza attributed the success to the commitment of faculty members and mentors.
“Behind every topnotcher is a teacher who believed first,” Pres. Mendoza proclaimed to the faculty.
Meanwhile, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Brendalyn A. Manzano highlighted in her message the importance of unity and community during the celebration.
“We did not merely step out of the classroom tonight; we stepped into the spirit of community that makes this university strong, and we carry it back to inspire, to uplift, and to achieve together,” VP Manzano said.
Supreme Student Council President and Student Regent Hon. Jazzmine Faye Samson also expressed her gratitude to the teaching personnel of the university.
“We celebrate not only the knowledge you share but also the inspiration, kindness, and values you have instilled in each and every one of us,” Pres. Samson shared.
The celebration featured a TikTok dance contest between the colleges, a raffle, performances from the TSU Hip-Hop Dance Group, and live music from the “TSU-chella” band.
