Both the elementary and secondary level results of Tarlac State University in the March 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) gave the university passing percentages a cut above the national passing rate.
There are no first-time takers from TSU in the LET elementary level, but retakers took the lead in keeping the university above the national passing rate. Fifty-three TSUians gave TSU a 57.61% passing rate which is higher than the 48.89 national passing percentage.
Meanwhile, TSU garnered a 70% passing rate among its first-time takers in the secondary level and a 45.10% overall passing rate for the institution. The national passing percentage is 41.73.
Results were released yesterday, April 29, by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Most of the passers are retakers or repeaters as announced by the PRC through Rappler.
“It is further announced that of the 10,039 elementary teacher passers, 246 are first timers and 9,793 are repeaters. For the secondary teachers, 2,194 passers are first timers and 5,615 are repeaters,” as stated in the PRC press release.
