The Student Research Conference is the avenue for the department to present the different researches conducted by the senior students. It is during this event when theses are presented and evaluated for the “Best Thesis” award. Evaluators or judges comprise of one (1) external evaluator from another institution and two (2) internal evaluators from TSU. All entries in this annual activity are published in the “Student Journal in English Language and Literature Research” (SJELLR).
Dr. Jessie S. Barrot, a renowned researcher in the field and Dean of the College of Education, National University, served as the external evaluator of presented theses during the 2017 and 2018 Student Research Conferences which were both held in May 2017 and April 2018, respectively at the TSU Alumni Center.
